Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 592 reviews.
Great little bike. I need a folding bike to fit in my camper, this fits perfectly.
The bike is generally ok. However, it has disadvantages. The battery range is a maximum of 40 km. I had to replace the saddle after the first ride because the mount broke. Charger supplied without a European plug.
It arrived with a flat rear tire and 70% assembled, as the front wheel and mudguard were not attached to the bike. So I had to pay for a new rear tire and also to be assembled properly in order to be sure for my safety.

White color, beautiful all over, not the most powerful nor the biggest battery but perfect for the price, very easy to use, the only bad thing, the black paint is not scratch resistant.

Surprisingly quick delivery, though the accessories took a bit longer...
Negative points first - Could have done with having assembly instructions but eventually figured it out, still struggling to find the right way to fold it though (and learned a painful lesson about where not to put my hand when dealing with the folding handlebar stem), and no idea how to swap the default handgrip for the throttle one. Was able to unlock the speed cap, but power doesn't seem to have changed any? Seems like maybe it needs some extra grease or tightening in places due to squeaks (especially the brakes) and creaks, but not sure where. Reversed brake handles are bizarre and I'll likely end up swapping the cables. High crank position means you have to sit up very high for comfortable leg extension, and as delivered saddle was angled up rather uncomfortably at the front... Also can't get the panniers to sit in a good position as delivered, either they fall down behind the wheel or are so far forwards that you hit them with your heels, but, eh, they were free, so I can figure something out. Similarly the mirrors are kind of loose on their stalks and I'll likely have to put some threadlock or the like on the joints to keep them in position... And as has been pointed out by others, the battery key doesn't actually secure it, and the supplied charger is rather slow... Also you need to be careful of the battery meter because the last couple bars go away a lot faster than the first two! And of course, be aware it's a hardtail so stand up a little when hitting bigger bumps.
However, I am largely satisfied with the bike, and for the price I'm prepared to put up with some nitpicks, vs my existing ancient MTB that has some of the same but no motor.
Balancing good points - No heavier than said MTB when the battery is out, and that only weighs a couple kilos, and equivalent gearing seems similar to what that gives on the smaller chainring. Pedalling with dead / no battery, braking and general handling is quite good as a result, a bit twitchier and more dynamic than a larger wheeled bike but still stable enough for the speeds you get up to. Motor does give a decent boost even without getting any extra torque/power from unlocking (maybe it gives 500w peak out of the box? it seems perkier than the Lime bikes I've tried, but it's also clearly much lighter and has better gearing). The torque sensor does a good enough job that the throttle is only really of any use if you're stuck trying to start on a hill in high gear or feeling super lazy and want to ride it like a very low powered moped (so not being able to permanently install it, rather than having it hanging loose for experimentation, is no big deal), when in max assist mode with unlocked speed there's been times where it's felt TOO easy and I've turned it to a lower setting in order to actually get some exercise! But it makes some previously prohibitively exhausting hills a relative breeze to get up - even if it still means doing so at a sedate 8-10ish mph in low gear, that's way better than 4-5mph and feeling on the verge of death by the time you reach the top, and it still requires some muscle input (like that of a brisk walk) because the motor can't really manage a meaningful speed by itself on such a grade unless you hop off and use walk mode.
Size is good, folding is relatively easy except for occasionally uncooperative physics (there's a trick to it I'm just not getting) and I found it will just about go in the boot of a Micra (without the parcel shelf) or on the back seats, which is an incredible difference vs having to completely deconstruct the old bike but still barely fitting it in with the seats down. Surprised that it was relatively easy to get it up the stairs to my flat and park it in the lounge without even folding it or taking the battery out, too. Unfolding is actually easier but you do need to be careful where you put your fingers...
Range, I don't really have much to compare to, but I've only run it dead once, a couple miles from home. Took too much of a chance on a not fully charged battery and figured the last bar on the gauge would take me as far as the first one. That was after being out for a good three hours and making pretty heavy use of the boost whilst doing a whole afternoon of testing and my legs were recovering for quite a while after, so for the kind of use it was designed and bought for (commuting within the same town, riding to a train station that's at the top of a big hill, pleasure rides around places I've driven the bike to) it should be more than ample. Think this is a good balance vs having a massive heavy battery and a range I typically won't use more than half of...
Saddle is fairly comfortable once actually adjusted right, at least for the distances I've ridden so far. Rear rack is probably good despite the pannier incompatibility, but haven't really had chance to use it yet. Handlebar handy-bag went on nicely and seems secure, big enough for phone, wallet, keys and water bottle at least even if not much more. Mirrors fit fairly easily even if they need a bit of fettling to hold position. Integrated lights are surprisingly good, even though I expected they'd be kind of token and rubbish, though it'd be nice to have some way to power them without the main battery. Similarly I was anticipating that I might need to swap out the rear cassette and perhaps chainring to get a slightly wider gear range, but so far it actually seems very well suited as-is, not quite too tall in 1st, not quite too short in 7th. Size makes it fairly easy to lock up, too, though my neck job is to find how to install the tracker tag...
Oh, and the orange paintjob is pretty nice ;-)
